QuietAir releases the same amount of air per breath as the existing standard elbow, but it does so gently using smaller, multidirectional openings over a wider area.
The default replacement elbow by resmed was functional, however the airflow out of it at higher pressures was very disruptive. Both by sound and feel.
The quiet air elbow was perfect at suppressing the noise and pressure of exhaust, while still safely eliminating exhaled air. Made a huge difference.
This elbow was difficult to acquire through my current health provider.
Told me I had to buy the whole assembly (elbow ,mask assembly and head gear and pillow cushion) together @ $240.00 . Told them all I needed was the elbow. No customer relations ...I walked and found you and the elbow I needed so I could use my machine ...it works great and 40% less .
After my wonder Beagle pup decided this particular part was the best part to chew. I was greatful for the sales rep help get me the part needed and have it delivered quickly. It was packaged well and delivered. Upon openning the package my sweet beagle started licking her lips.
